WEEKEND PASS: $130 (Value approx. $150)
A one-stop shopping option for the following events: Bus Tour (1), Cast Meet and Greet (1), Ecola Park Picnic, and Concert.  Also includes a commemorative Event T-shirt, Local Bus Pass, Lanyard with Collectible Pass, More.   Weekend Pass Holders will receive some perks, like optional early entry into the Concert venue.  This is a limited item with only 800 available.

This pass does NOT include: VIP Dinner, Friday Night premiere showing or any cinema showing of The Goonies, 80s Night Out, or the Truffle Shuffle 5K event.

 

 


 

 

The Goon Docks

Welcome to the Goonies 25th anniversary event headquarters. This is the central location for the event planning team. The Goon Docks is where bus tours will board and depart from. Advance registration packets will be here for pick up so be sure to stop by when you first arrive in town. Any ticketed events that still have tickets available during the weekend will be sold through this location only. The Goonies 25th anniversary store will be here so come check out the commemorative merchandise and other Goonies goodies.  A raffle will be taking place during the event and this is the place to buy tickets, see the items up for grabs and find out if your ticket is drawn over the weekend.

The Sunset Empire Amateur Radio Club has set up a nationally sanctioned FCC broadcast event to commemorate the Goonies 25th anniversary so stop by and say hello to goonies from around the world.

Treasure Hunt

Explore the Astoria region with this Treasure Hunt any time during the event, June 4-7. Treasure maps will be available at The Goon Docks and lead adventurers into the community for a unique Goonies experience. Some merchants may be offering a special prize just for coming by, others may have a themed item on their menu or offer a special sale to treasure seekers. All participating businesses will stamp your map to show that you’ve been to their location and those that complete the quest will be rewarded upon returning to The Goon Docks.

VIP Dinner with Cast   {SOLD OUT}

Join cast members and locals that were a part of the Goonies filming experience for a meal prepared by the Baked Alaska Restaurant.  Only 100 tickets will be available for this event and IDs will be checked against purchaser name to deter resell of this limited capacity event.  The menu includes themed foods such as “Fratelli” meatballs with alfredo sauce and Baked Brie Cheese with Goonies themed art design and a few surprises. 

Heavy Hors d’ouvres style menu will allow for fans and cast to mingle during this event as well as an opportunity for everyone to share their love of the film with the group.

Menu includes:

Fresh baked foccacia bread pizzas: Pepperoni and Italian Sausage AND roma tomato and basil

Tempura wild prawn skewers with a honey ginger glaze

Fennel crusted wild Alaskan Coho salmon, roasted and served chilled

Sopressata ham wrapped asparagus spears

Pinot Noir marinated crimini and oyster mushrooms with fresh arugula

“Fratelli” meatballs with alfredo sauce

“Red Carpet” Opening of The Goonies & Premiere of new “Making of” Documentary

Line up outside the Liberty Theater to watch our version of a red carpet entrance followed by a welcome from Astoria’s mayor before watching the premiere of the new “Making of The Goonies” documentary presented by Oxygen Productions and www.thegoonies.org featuring interviews with the cast. And of course, the event kickoff wouldn’t be complete without showing The Goonies!

Grand Opening of the Oregon Film Museum

The Clatsop County Historical Society is presents the Oregon Film Museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the art and legacy of Oregon Films and professional film-making in Oregon. Museum is located in the historic Clatsop County Jail, aka “the Goonies Jail.” Be among the first to visit this museum during the 25th anniversary event.

Bus Tours to the Goonies Film Locations

Hop on board a bus with 40 other fans and journey through Astoria while learning about film locations from The Goonies and other historic points of interest in our community. We are pleased to include an interior tour of both “Mikey’s House” and “Mouth’s House” on the tour, along with points of interest like the football field, bowling alley, and even the school from Kindergarten Cop!  The bus tour will be the only way to access the interior of the homes featured in the film.  Please respect the property and privacy of the homeowners and neighbors if you decide to visit the locations on your own during the weekend.

WHEN: On Saturday & Sunday the tours depart every 30 minutes starting at 9am, & will last approx. 2 hours.

Meet & Greet with the Cast

Join the cast members as they share their experiences from filming, discuss what they’ve been up to since and their plans for the future. Joining the panel will be a couple local community members that were on the set or involved with the filming in another way. Some audience members will be allowed to ask pre-screened questions directly. And we’ll finish up this event with an autograph session.

80s Night Out in Astoria

Experience Astoria night life with an 80s twist. Participating venues will be offering a special 80s themed event, such as cosmic bowling with 80s music, 80s cover bands, and more.

Goonies Concert

Celebrate your love of The Goonies by attending this concert featuring performers who are also fans of the film. The concert will take place at Astoria High School’s Warren Field – the football field seen in the opening of the film.

Line up includes:

Truth Movement - Corey Feldman's rock band will visit Astoria as a part of their 2010 summer tour.  Expect a special show from Corey as his gift to you fans for supporting him through the years.

The Truth Movement is set to release their 2nd studio album this summer. Fronted by singer /songwriter Corey Feldman, the band is a Pink Floyd inspired homage to classic rock and is made up of a group of young and very talented Los Angeles musicians who have been playing together for several years. Their namesake is a tribute to Corey's desire to write and perform with honesty and a goal to advocate the truth.

The Ataris - Alternative band whose album in 2003 titled So Long, Astoria references their love of the film and a trip they took to Astoria to see the Goonies sites. The Ataris will perform that album in its entirety at this show.

The Whiskey Rebellion has been fortunate enough to share the bill with such acts as The Sam Bush Band, Peter Rowan & Tony Rice, Tim O'Brien, the Seldom Scene, The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Larry Keel. and many more.

The Virginia Pilot praises “The quartet plays a mostly high-energy, joyful brand of bluegrass, with skill full picking and two and three-part harmonies. The quartet is known for its imaginative remakes of songs by, among dozens of others, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Gnarls Barkley, and Bob Dylan.”

Back from the depths of the unknown comes... THE RETURN OF TROY'S BUCKET! That's right everyone's favorite pop punk band is making it's triumphant return in honor of the Goonies 25th Anniversary in June 2010. A favorite in San Diego for years, Troy's Bucket has shared the stage with bands such as Yellowcard, The Aquabats, Home Grown, Good Riddance, Guttermouth, Underminded, Slick Shoes, Nerf Herder, Ozma & Rilo Kiley, among many, many others. They even had a run on the 2003 Vans Warped Tour. After being away for 5 years the time has come for the Bucket to rise again and bring back their fun, energetic live show & catchy songs for a whole new audience to hear. It's all over the second you ride up...Troy's Bucket.

Truffle Shuffle 5K Run/Walk

A friendly race along Astoria’s Riverwalk with the Goonies House visible from the Finish Line. Prizes to be awarded for costumed participants as well as the first three male, female and youth participants across the finish line. First 500 participants to sign up will receive a unique Truffle Shuffle event T-shirt.

Picnic Gathering at Ecola State Park

One last opportunity for the fans to come together to celebrate the film that has touched their lives and brought them all here for this weekend of events. Hear stories from local crew members, including a Park Ranger that was on the set here at Ecola State Park during the filming. Enjoy a BBQ lunch while enjoying the breathtaking scenery.  Jeff Cohen will not be able to attend this event.

The Astoria Lions Club will benefit from this event as they are providing the meal.  Ticket will get you 2 sandwiches (choose from any combination of hot dog, hamburger or veggie burger), cole slaw, chips, soda or water, and a cookie.   You may visit Ecola State Park during the event, but only ticket holders will get lunch.
